An Autumn Break In Wales

Photos from an Autumn break away in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

I was kindly invited to stay in the 17th century thatch cottage Ty To which is situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in Wales. Mabel my dog and I were able to enjoy exploring the local area together for walks on the coast and on the beautiful beaches.

This view was of one of my favourite walks during our stay which was on the coast path looking down to Marloe Sands beach.

View of the Ty To cottage from the garden. It was such an idyllic setting.

The cottage has been lovingly restored and won a National Park award in 2002.

Cosy corners in the cottage.

Beautiful Autumn light streaming in through the cottage windows.

These stunning beach views are at Marloes Sands Beach, in Marloes on the coast.

It was so lovely being able to take Mabel my dog away on this Autumn break away in Wales. The cottage was so comfortable and cosy.

I really enjoyed exploring the area with a visit to the Melin Trewgynt ancient woollen mill, which was situated in a beautiful wooded valley next to the coast to see where their traditional Welsh blankets were made. As well as a drive up the coast to Fishguard & Newport. I loved Fishguard Harbour which was filled with traditional cottages & Newport was delightful with lots of independent shops & cafes and beautiful beaches nearby.

What a lovely autumn adventure it was. With a big thank you to Ty To for having us to stay xx
