Glebe House, East Devon

Glebe House is a guest house, restaurant & 15 acre smallholding in East Devon. It is set in an area of outstanding beauty with stunning views of the East Devon countryside, and is only 3 miles from the coast at Beer. It’s a truly wonderful place with its beautiful location in the East Devon countryside, its stunning interiors, delicious food and warm friendly welcome from Olive & Hugo and all the team at Glebe House.

Stunning views of the East Devon countryside through the dining room window.

I visited last Spring to take photos just after it had opened. The house is a unique Georgian house and former family home with beautiful architectural qualities and thoughtful design throughout. It is where Hugo grew up, and Olive & Hugo have lovingly created a truly wonderful place to escape too.

The sitting room has beautiful views of the gardens and surrounding countryside.

A beautiful and eclectic mix of colours and patterns finish the interiors.

Glebe House has references to nature in every corner of the house, with the beautiful artwork on the walls, through to the seasonal flowers picked from the garden on the tables, Celebrating its beautiful setting within the East Devon Countryside.

A clever mix of vintage pieces & artwork on the walls in the dining room.

So many beautiful paintings are displayed throughout the house. Olive is an artist and her beautiful paintings are on display around the house. Olives’ instragram is @oilsbyolive
