Glebe House- East Devon
Springtime in Devon. Captures from my stay this April at Glebe House in East Devon.
What a magical place Glebe House is. ‘A boutique guest house, farm-to-table restaurant, and 15-acre smallholding set in the heart of East Devon, an area of outstanding natural beauty. With far-reaching views over the rolling hills of the Coly Valley and a short drive from the Jurassic Coast, Glebe is a unique foodie retreat in the beautiful English countryside.’
I stayed in ‘Crows’ Nest One’- one of the new garden cabins. A beautifully designed wooden cabin with everything you could possibly need to relax during your stay, with stunning countryside views, and Mabel came along too as it was dog-friendly.
I loved my afternoon session in the wood fired Sauna & cold plunge as well as a delicious seasonal supper and breakfast in the main house. A thoroughly relaxing and idyllic place to escape to in the countryside. Thanks so much for having us to stay Glebe House xx
A view from inside the cabin-Crow’s Nest One, which had stunning views from the veranda looking out to the countryside and Coly Valley.
Just look at these views! You could just sit and enjoy the views on the veranda, or even enjoy a hot bath out on the deck under the stars!
View from the outside of Crow’s Nest One, at Glebe House.
Mabel enjoying the countryside views from the deck.
Mabel fast asleep in the dog bed provided for our stay. It was great the cabin was dog-friendly too.
View of the kitchen in Crow’s Nest One. A warm and cosy space with a mosaic tiled splash-back created by owner Olive, locally made wooden kitchen units, a colourful collection of ceramics & a vase full of spring blooms from the garden.
The attention to detail is what makes Glebe House such a special place to spend time in-with home baked cookies from the kitchen & home grown flowers picked from the garden.
It was so lovely the cabin had a woodturner, which I lit and enjoyed reading my book by. Perfectly cosy and relaxing.
Mabel relaxing in the open plan living area.
A new addition at Glebe House is the wood-fired sauna. Set in the gardens the sauna has stunning views of the countryside. Enjoy the warmth of the sauna and then an icy cold plunge out on the deck!
A view of the main house and the gardens in Spring.
More interior and exterior captures of the cabin ‘Crow’s Nest One’, the main house and guest house, surrounding countryside views and dining area at Glebe House.
Love all the original artwork that cover the walls at Glebe House with work by owner @oilsbyolive and many other Artists. All available to purchase during your stay.
Thanks so much for having me & Mabel to stay team Glebe House. We had such a lovely time xx Pr Stay-ad
